Folk was born in 2001 by Cathal McAteer.
Understated but with great attention to detail the Folk clothing collection spans shirting, knitwear, wovens, jersey and accessories.
Folk’s ethos is to design menswear that Cathal’s friends would like to wear.
The collections are defined by a handcrafted aesthetic that creates simple staple favourites with subtle, fun and quirky detailing that allows their owner to make a statement without having to shout too loudly about it.
Cathal has twice been nominated for Designer of the year 2 years running for his Folk clothing collections.
He also designs for Folks sister brand Shofolk and Puma/Tretorn.
