Edwin

Edwin was established in 1947 by a Japanese man who had a serious passion for denim. No denim was manufactured in Japan at the time, inspired by the denim producing brands from the United States, Mr Tsunemi was driven to create his first pair of Edwin denim jeans in Japan in 1961. The Edwin brand history from that point is pretty inspirational stuff, 1963 saw Edwin create the worlds heaviest denim (16oz), in the 70's Edwin were the first company to create a pair of jeans designed to replicate those worn from their original raw state and in the 80's they revolutionised the whole indistry by inventing the stonewash process. Today, Edwin are renowned for their premium jeans, whether in their raw state made from their signature rainbow selvage for those who like to create their own fades, or in one of the fantastic washes that Edwin take pride in producing. Edwin also produce a full clothing collection each season that Kiosk 78 carry a selection of.
